During the 2024–2025 school year, the leadership of Edgewood Campus School engaged our community in a thoughtful and collaborative strategic planning process. Through surveys, roundtable discussions, and a facilitated workshop, families, faculty, staff, and board members helped shape a shared vision for the future of the Campus School.
We are pleased to share the result of that work and the progress made to date on our five-year strategic plan, Rooted in Tradition: Imagining New Possibilities.

The plan outlines priorities across eight domains, providing a clear roadmap for the next five years.
Several themes emerged throughout the planning process. Our community expressed deep pride in our mission and the strong sense of belonging that defines ECS. There was a clear desire to preserve what makes our school special while also planning intentionally for growth, sustainability, and the evolving needs of our students. Above all, we heard optimism about the future and a shared commitment to ensuring that ECS continues to thrive for generations to come.
Since the plan was finalized and approved by the ECS Board of Directors, we have made meaningful progress toward our first-year goals:
Academics: We are evaluating the curriculum at ECS and maintaining a regular review cycle to uphold the rigor and quality our families expect.
Facilities: We are conducting a life-cycle assessment of our current facility to enhance the learning environment for students.
Advancement: After securing a three-year grant, we hired a Director of Advancement to grow fundraising efforts, strengthen partnerships, and expand support for our mission.
Enrollment: Significant work is underway to improve transparency in our admissions process and board communications with the community.
We are implementing a recurring climate survey, launching in April 2026 and administered each November and April thereafter, to gather feedback and inform continuous improvement.
This plan is not a finish line, but a road map. As we move forward, school leadership and the Board remain committed to advancing these priorities in partnership with our community.
We invite you to review the plan, remain engaged in the work ahead, and continue partnering with us as we bring this shared vision to life.
Thank you for your trust and continued support of Edgewood Campus School.
